Saving Grace Outreach’s Playground: A Day of Caring Project

On a recent Day of Caring, volunteers came together to build a playground at Saving Grace Outreach, a charitable organization located in the village of Cattaraugus. This event brought together individuals from the local community and members of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie, Niagara, and the Southern Tier.

The playground equipment, generously donated by the Seneca Street Community Development Corporation, was assembled by the dedicated volunteers. This new playground will serve as a safe and fun place for children in the area to play and grow.

“Our community from three counties came together for a united day of caring building a playground and grilling area at our Community Cares Center,” Elizabeth O’Neil, Saving Grace Outreach director, said. “Thank you to all who lent their hands to make this dream a reality!”

“We were thrilled to have been part of the effort to assemble this community playground space,” Kara Cantrell, BBBSENT Director of Development & Community Relations and playground volunteer, said. “Thank you so much for having us and for the warm welcome. We hope the kiddos enjoy the space!”

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this project a success. Your efforts have created a lasting impact on the children and families served by Saving Grace Outreach. Together, we are making a difference!
